MPP was founded in 2017 by Julia Coronado with Laura Rosner-Warburton, economists with extensive experience in both policy making and financial markets to conduct independent, careful and practical research to inform the views of people who take risk and make decisions in the financial services and other industries. We offer a unique perspective of the US economy based on the principles that the US economy is inextricably linked to the global economy, that financial market developments, credit growth and the international flow of funds have real impacts on the economy, and that demographic developments are at the root of many changes we have seen in markets and the economy. We leverage the expertise of former senior officials at the Federal Reserve and Treasury who know how policy decisions are made and communicated, and therefore understand how to read the tea leaves of economic and financial developments. We specialize in careful, timely and relevant analysis of incoming data over high frequency commentary and engaging in an ongoing and personal dialogue with our clients.
